elliott and I drove up to North Shore last weekend and stopped to take some pictures at Chinaman's Hat (also called Mokoli'i; it's the island behind us). some kayakers stopped and offered to take this :)

we love the North Shore drive. it's beautiful, takes awhile, and you drive along the ocean almost the whole way!
we were stopped in traffic by Turtle Beach and elliott took this of me with my hippie scarf... good for keeping my hair out of my eyes in the jeep!

while up at North Shore, we saw a tie dye stand ... which meant that Elliott wanted a new tie dye tshirt. we didn't have cash to stop there, but later that night, i convinced Elliott that we should get some white tshirts and dye and make our own! he indulged me and look how sweet his shirts turned out!
we also wanted to tie dye something for the baby, so here is our baby's first tie dye: a bassinet sheet. ha!

Adrianne, your belly is Adorable...and SO big!!! I can't believe how much he's grown since I last saw you!!! Plus, now you're into the 30-something weeks, which is way exciting!!!
ReplyDeleteI also must mention how jealous I am of your surroundings! I know you talked about going to the beach, and floating in the ocean, but in my mind I could only relate on strictly a vacation level. However, these pictures reminded me that you actually DO live in paradise!!!
Enjoy this time with Elliott! Those are such special memories that you guys will have!!!

ReplyDeleteKel showed me your post last night and I must say, it was very relaxing to read and look at! What a blessed and special time this is for you and Elliott. 31 weeks! Can hardly believe. Tucker is almost 2 weeks old and it seems like he has been here always. So very sweet and tender times...speck so. You look wonderful and you made my joy complete just seeing how much you and Elliott are enjoying life and the hope of your future. You are missed here greatly by many and dearly loved. I love the artistic shot of your belly and Chinaman's Hat and I would have loved Elliott in action taking it. It reminded me of when he did contortions taking the sunrise pictures from the pillbox lookout!

It was so great to talk to you today. I miss having all that time together like we had this summer. I can't wait to see you and Elliott, and of course to meet the baby! in less than 60 days! Love you guys
